Who we are
Casa Aguilar the Events Place is an events venue at 1179 Tropical Avenue, BF Homes International, Las Piñas City, Philippines 1740. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy, and we handle it in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
We collect the details you choose to give us when you ask about an event, book a visit or register for one of our events. Our app also collects some technical information, explained in The Casa Aguilar app.
- Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address, and your Facebook or Messenger name if you contact us there.
- Event details: the type of event, the date or how far away it is, the estimated number of guests, your preferred venue, budget, the services you need and how you heard about us.
- Your messages: anything you write to us in a form or a chat.
- Visit bookings: the date and time you choose for an in-person or online ocular visit.
We do not ask for payment card details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through our website, app or Messenger.
Facebook Messenger
When you message the Casa Aguilar Facebook page, an automated assistant may reply first. It can answer common questions and, if you want to be contacted, ask for your name, mobile number, email address and event details. Our team then follows up with you.
We receive your Messenger name and the messages you send to our page. We do not receive your Facebook password, your friends list or anything you have not sent us. Your messages are also handled by Meta under Meta’s Privacy Policy.
The Casa Aguilar app
Our app for iPhone and Android collects the details you enter in its forms, such as a venue inquiry or a food tasting registration, as described above. To keep the app working well, it also collects:
- Notification token: a device identifier that lets us send you notifications about events and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings.
- App usage: which screens you open and which buttons you tap, such as booking an ocular visit, so we can see how the app is used and improve it. This is collected through Google Firebase Analytics.
- Approximate location: your general area, such as your city, estimated by Firebase Analytics from your internet connection. The app does not ask for or use your precise location.
- Crash and performance reports: technical details about your device and the app when something goes wrong, collected through Google Firebase Crashlytics, so we can fix problems.
App usage, location and crash information are not linked to your name or contact details.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and send you the information you asked for.
- To arrange ocular visits, food tastings and event bookings.
- To plan and run your event with you if you book with us.
- To send you news and offers, only if you agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how our app is used and fix problems with it.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
If you book an event with us, we keep your details for as long as needed to deliver the event and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. If your inquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete it within two years of our last contact with you. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed about how your information is used, to access it, to correct it, to object to its use, and to have it deleted or blocked. If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

If we must keep anything by law, such as records of a paid booking, we will tell you what and why.
